Electric Color

Photography: Mr. Ray Photography

Let’s get into this look right quick 😛

I wanted to style something fun since summer is finally here and there will be plenty of summer parties to be had! If you normally run from color in your wardrobe, I hope this outfit shows you what you are missing out on. This look can be recreated with shorts and top or skirt and blouse with the same color scheme.

Now if you read the blog regularly you know that I have an obsession with Gladiator Sandals. This was the first look I created for my Gladiator Heels from Cici Hot, but I cannot wait to style them in different ways throughout the summer. My top is originally a swimsuit, but the same look can be achieved with a bodysuit. My skirt is part of a co-ord set I received from GoJane. This look should inspire you to find versatility within your closet and recreate multiple looks from items you already own!

I had so much fun shooting this look this past weekend! 🙂 Not only was I able to style something that is a little out of my own comfort zone, but got a chance to work with Ray of Mr. Ray Photography and he provided awesome guidance. I am a stylist and a visual merchandiser, but that does not make me a model, buy any means. (Selfies don’t qualify as modeling work 😛 ) This was my first shoot since 2011 and I appreciate Ray’s vision and outlook for the shoot. If you are in the Dallas area and are considering professional photography for your blog, resume head shots, or family portraits Ray is highly recommended! <3 color-pop high-cut-swim-top color-pop  thigh-gladiator-heels
